My labour of "Love is a four-legged word"
Purrfect aMEWSments was established to provide handcrafted "hats and toys furr cats" and "togs furr dogs" to animal rescue groups for fundraising activities. I provide the yarn, nimble fingers, and tag the items with a card stating "ALL Proceeds Support" and the name of the rescue. Since December, 2015 more than 1000 items have be donated to:
Ladybird Animal Sanctuary in Hamilton, Ontario
Texas Chihuahua Rescue, Ontario, Canada Chapter (the sombreros have been a big hit!)
Southern Grenadines Animal Kindness on Union Island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Charlie's Fund in Kitchener, Ontario
My mission has always been to encourage other talented crafters to support animal rescue groups by using their skills "to make a difference". I am currently documenting my original patterns and will post them when available. The basic hat and paw pattern has been posted. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
